Whether you are staying at the Constance Tsarabanjina Resort or the VOI Amarina Resort, the centre provides direct pickup services from the beach. This allows for seamless transitions from your accommodation to the dive boats, ensuring you spend more time in the water and less time in transit.

The team is composed of experienced PADI instructors and local staff dedicated to safety and environmental respect. They operate with a maximum ratio of six divers per guide, ensuring personalised attention throughout every dive.

Instruction is available in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. This multilingual approach makes the centre accessible to a wide range of international divers looking to progress through their training or simply explore new sites with a professional buddy.

As a PADI affiliated centre, Blue Wave Diving offers a complete progression of certifications. You can begin with the Bubble Maker programme for children or start your journey with the Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre provides PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver, and Wreck specialties. Nitrox certification is also available to help you manage your nitrogen loading on multi-day trips.

The centre operates three fast and spacious boats, powered by Suzuki 200HP or 250HP engines depending on the specific site being visited. These vessels are designed to reach the offshore reefs of the Mitsio archipelago efficiently.

On board, you will find snacks and drinks provided to keep you refreshed between dives. The boats are equipped for various types of excursions, including day trips, night dives, and seasonal wildlife safaris.

A full range of diving equipment is available for hire, covering everything from regulators to wetsuits and fins. The centre maintains its kit to high standards to ensure reliability for both recreational and advanced divers.

Nitrox is available on-site for those looking to extend their bottom time. For safety, the centre also maintains oxygen (O2) kits on hand during all operations.

The reefs are teeming with a vast array of tropical fish, including butterflyfish (Chaetodon), surgeonfish (Acanthuridae), and various snappers (Lutjanus). You will frequently see large schools of fusiliers (Caesio) and jacks (Carangidae) moving past the coral pinnacles. Larger pelagics such as whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus), and various rays (Batoidea) are also part of the regular marine landscape.

For macro enthusiasts, the area offers incredible variety. You can find nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani), seahorses (Hippocampus kuda), and frogfish (Antennarius) tucked into the reef, alongside garden eels (Gorgasia) and various species of scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae).

The hard and soft coral cover is extensive, featuring giant gorgonians, sea fans (Gorgoniidae), and various coral sponges. These structures provide the essential habitat for the local population of turtles (Cheloniidae), including green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata).

Seasonality brings some of the region's most spectacular visitors. Between August and September, humpback whales are present in the area, and from October to December, the increase in plankton often brings whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) to the waters.

Dive sites are selected each morning based on the current tides and prevailing currents to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience. The local conditions can vary, particularly on the offshore reefs of the Mitsio archipelago.

While the area is highly accessible, the choice of site is always dictated by the daily weather and sea state to account for local swell and current strength.
