The centre operates as a PADI 5 Star facility with a strong emphasis on safety and professional standards. They maintain a low diver-to-guide ratio, with a maximum of 4 divers per guide, which is particularly important during encounters with larger pelagics.

The team consists of experienced professional guides who are well-versed in the specific requirements of diving around Fuvahmulah. Their approach is rooted in sustainable practices, strictly adhering to non-feeding and non-touching policies to protect the local ecosystem.

A full range of PADI training is available, catering to everyone from those taking their first breaths underwater to professional divers. The course catalogue includes the PADI Open Water Diver course, Advanced Open Water Diver, and the PADI Divemaster programme.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers the PADI Nitrox Diver Specialty, PADI Deep Diver Specialty, PADI Rescue Diver, and PADI Sidemount Diver. They also provide the PADI Digital Underwater Imaging Specialty for those wanting to master underwater photography.

The centre provides a complete range of rental kit for divers. On-site facilities are modern and spacious, capable of accommodating over 60 divers at a time.

The area is world-renowned for its pelagic life, particularly the Tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier), which can be seen year-round. Depending on when you visit, you may also encounter Thresher shark in the months between April and December, or hammerhead sharks (Sphyrna lewini) from December to March. Whale sharks are also present from January to May.

Beyond the large predators, the reefs are home to a steady population of oceanic whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks, and various reef fish. You will regularly see large schools of rainbow runners, fusiliers, and jacks, alongside resident groupers and barracudas.

The reef architecture is built upon healthy Hard coral (Scleractinia), with many sites featuring diverse sea fans and soft corals. In deeper sections like Bodofanno, gorgonians and soft corals thrive on the coral blocks and within the crevices.

Macro and smaller reef life includes a variety of triggerfish, wrasse, and colourful reef fish that inhabit the coral structures. The presence of abundant plankton supports a wide range of life, including oceanic manta rays and even occasional sightings of ocean sunfish.

The marine environment around Fuvahmulah is characterised by deep pelagic currents. While the island offers diverse reef habitats, divers should be prepared for the movement of water typical of an equatorial volcanic island.

For those planning their trip based on visibility and sea conditions, the period from November to May generally offers the calmest seas and the best visibility. Peak diving seasons are observed from December to April and again from July to September.
