The complex has a 360-degree terrace with views towards the sea and Oia's sunset. No need to pretend that sunset is a minor detail in Santorini; here, it is practically part of the furniture.

You are in Oia, Greece, at the northern end of Santorini and within the village itself. The Naval Museum of Oia is around 0.1 miles away, while the Church of Panagia is about 0.1 miles from the property. Katharos Beach is roughly 0.5 miles away and about a 13-minute walk. Other beaches call for transport: Baxedes Beach is around 2.2 miles away by road, Cape Columbo Beach about 3.8 miles, and Pori Beach about 4.2 miles. This is a clifftop village base, not a hotel where you step straight from the terrace into the sea.

You can reach several places to eat or drink on foot. Pitogyros Traditional Grill House is about 0.2 miles away, Armeni Restaurant around 0.5 miles, and Lefkes roughly 1.1 miles. Sun Spirit is about 0.1 miles away, with Sun Spirit Cocktail Bar around 0.2 miles from the studios.

The useful question here is not simply which studio looks nicest in a photograph, but how you want to use it. For two, a Deluxe Double Studio or Deluxe Queen Studio keeps things simple, with a large bed in the relevant option; one Deluxe Double Studio has twin single beds instead. If you are travelling as a small group or with family, the Superior Studio gives you more room to spread out, with a king-size bed and sofa beds.

The Suite with Private Pool is the obvious choice if private outdoor bathing matters more to you than having the most compact set-up. Every accommodation option has a private bathroom, and the studios bring the practical basics that become more valuable when you return tired, salty and hungry: a fridge, stovetop, kitchenware, coffee machine and electric kettle.

Air conditioning helps take the edge off a hot island day, while a balcony, terrace or patio gives you somewhere to sit with a coffee and look out towards the sea, the town or a landmark, depending on the accommodation. There is also a desk, wardrobe, TV, private entrance and ironing equipment. Upper-floor units are reached by stairs; some units are on the ground floor. That is worth considering before booking if knees and dive bags have already had a long day.

Your in-room food arrangements start with a kitchenette rather than a hotel dining room routine. A fridge, stovetop, kitchenware, coffee machine and kettle let you keep drinks cold, make a simple breakfast or assemble something uncomplicated when you would rather not dress up and go out. For proper meals, Oia is close at hand. Pitogyros Traditional Grill House is around a four-minute walk away, while Armeni Restaurant takes roughly nine minutes on foot. Lefkes is further out at about 1.1 miles. You also have Blue Dome, a café around 0.1 miles away, and Sun Spirit Cocktail Bar at about 0.2 miles for the part of the evening when food has done its job and a drink is now under serious consideration.

The arrangement works particularly well if your days do not run to hotel meal times. Make coffee before heading out, keep something cold for your return and choose a nearby restaurant when you have the appetite for a proper Greek evening.

The main leisure equipment is the outdoor space. A sun terrace, patio, balcony and outdoor seating give you several places to sit with the view, while loungers and sun umbrellas make it possible to stop moving for a while without having to leave the property. The 360-degree terrace is the natural place to settle in for Oia's sunset.

The Archaeological Museum of Thera is about 4.3 miles away, with other museums and historic sites around Fira within a similar road-trip radius.

Santorini International Airport is about 10 miles away by road. An airport shuttle is available through the property, either privately or as a shared service, to be arranged with the hotel. Parking is not available at the property, so arriving by car needs a little planning rather than a last-minute hope that a convenient space will materialise.

Check-in runs from 15:00 to 15:30 and check-out from 11:00 to 11:30. You need to provide photo identification and a credit card at check-in, and the property asks you to share your expected arrival time. Private check-in and check-out are available, and daily housekeeping takes care of the room while you are out.
