The immediate area is useful when your legs have had enough for one day. El Tomillar is about 200 metres away, while Apache Burger Grill and Infraganti Pizza Bar are each roughly 350 metres away. Teatre en La Playa and Magenta are also around 300 to 400 metres from the property.

For a change of scenery, Parque La Marjal is about half a mile away. Alicante’s museums, Santa Barbara Castle and the city centre are around 4 to 5 miles away, so a car or taxi makes sense for sightseeing rather than heroic footwear.

A flat-screen TV and free WiFi deal with the post-dive wind-down, although the real advantage is having a terrace and direct beach access rather than being shut inside a standard hotel room.

The beach is the main event when you are not underwater. Direct access means you can move between the apartment, the terrace and the sand without turning a simple swim into an expedition. The seasonal outdoor swimming pool offers another option when you want water without waves, currents or a schedule.

A fitness room is available for anyone who still has energy to spend after diving. For everyone else, the terrace is better suited to the traditional post-dive disciplines: sitting down, rehydrating and discussing whether that last dive really needed quite so many photographs.

Further out, Parque La Marjal is roughly half a mile away, while Alicante’s Provincial Archaeology Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Santa Barbara Castle are all within about 4 to 5 miles. The Canelobre Caves are around 8 miles away by road for a longer inland outing.

Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport is about 14 miles away by road. Alicante Train Station is roughly 6 miles away, while Mercado station is about 5 miles away. Free private parking is available on site, with a reservation required, which is worth arranging if you are driving.

Check-in runs from 15:00 to 22:00, and you need to provide your expected arrival time in advance. Arrivals after 22:00 carry a surcharge, with later arrivals treated separately. Photo identification and a credit card are required at check-in; cash is not accepted.
