The setting is better suited to a car than to spontaneous public-transport adventures. Ibiza Airport is around 12 miles away by road, with a drive of roughly half an hour. A supermarket is about 500 metres away, and La Mesa Escondida is around 450 feet from the property. For a proper outing, Torre del Pirata is roughly 3 miles away by car and Sa Talaiassa around 7 miles.

This is a coastal base with access to coves and viewpoints, not a hotel in the middle of an urban centre. That matters when you want a quiet drink and an early night, but less so if your holiday plan involves walking out to a different restaurant every evening.

The useful choice is between compact rooms for two and larger suites when you want space to unpack properly rather than live out of a dry bag. Couples looking for the view should focus on the sea-view options, including the Deluxe Es Vedrà and Petunia suites. The Rooftop Sea View Bougainvillea Suite adds its position above the hotel to the appeal. The evening cut-off is therefore workable after a day on the water, provided your return is not conducted at geological speed.

Breakfast is a buffet with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. A bar is available for the less ambitious part of the evening, while the minibar and tea and coffee facilities in the room help when you want to stay put. Room service is also available.
