Located in Capdepera near the Font De Sa Cala beach, Dive & Fun Mallorca has been a fixture of the local diving community since 2006. The centre is positioned in the Beach Club hotel, providing a modern and spacious base for divers exploring the Balearic coast.

The location offers easy access to the Llevant marine reserve, ensuring a high standard of biodiversity for your dives. Whether you are looking for shallow reef flats or deeper excursions, the centre's setup is designed to handle a wide variety of underwater environments.

The centre operates with a professional approach to safety and instruction, maintaining affiliations with PADI, SSI, CMAS, and the International Aquanautic Club (IAC). This multi-agency accreditation means you can pursue almost any certification path within a single, well-organised facility.

Instruction is delivered in German, English, Spanish, and French, making it easy to communicate technical details during training or debriefs. To ensure a high level of supervision, the centre maintains a ratio of maximum four divers per guide.

Safety is integrated into the daily routine, with all staff undergoing annual emergency management training. The centre also ensures that all boats are equipped with oxygen systems for added security during every excursion.

The training programme is extensive, covering everything from introductory courses like Bubblemaker and Scuba Diver to professional levels such as Divemaster and Instructor. You can work through the standard Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver pathways or follow the CMAS certification ladder.

Technical and specialty training is a significant focus here. The centre offers courses in Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck, Navigation, and Cavern diving, alongside more specialised ISE levels for exploration. For those moving into technical diving, Foundations Rec and Foundations Tec programmes are available.

Rebreather training is also supported, including the Divetalk GO Rebreather and ISE Oxygen Rebreather courses. The centre also provides specialised instruction in sidemount, scooter use, and underwater photography.

The centre operates three semi-rigid boats to reach the various dive sites in the region. These vessels include the MUCHO MAS, powered by a 250 PS Yamaha 4-stroke outboard, and the POCO MAS, which uses a 200 PS Suzuki 4-stroke. A third vessel, DEMASIADO, is equipped with dual 300 PS Suzuki outboards for more demanding trips.

These boats allow for efficient transit to sites like Cap Freu and L'Olla. Nitrox is available for use on board, supporting divers looking to extend their bottom time.

The shore-based facilities are modern, featuring a dedicated training room with air conditioning and a comfortable area for post-dive debriefing. Divers have access to three hot showers, a rinsing and disinfection basin, and a specific area for storing private equipment.

A Bauer K15 compressor handles the gas blending, providing high-quality air and Nitrox. The centre is capable of filling 300 bar cylinders using its dedicated storage system. To maintain air quality, the centre uses electronic monitoring of the air filter and performs annual inspections; they do not fill external cylinders to ensure these standards are met.

For those needing kit, a full range of Cressi equipment is available for hire, including wetsuits, regulators, and BCDs. The centre also provides torches for night dives and offers technical equipment hire such as sidemount tanks, scooters, and rebreather service.

The marine life in the Llevant reserve is remarkably diverse. On the reefs and rocky outcrops, you will regularly encounter groupers, triggerfish, and scorpionfish. Large schools of fish are common, and you may see barracuda or various species of fish patrolling the currents.

In the sandy areas and near the rocks, octopus, moray eels, and various rays are frequently observed. The area is also home to several species of sea urchins and starfish, adding to the complexity of the seabed.

For macro enthusiasts, the area is excellent for spotting nudibranchs and various species of sea slugs. You can also find octopus and scorpionfish tucked into crevices, providing plenty of interest for those with a keen eye.

Seasonally, keep an eye out for large schools of sardines, which are particularly prevalent in September.

The local sites offer a range of environments, from protected bays like Cala Grande and L'Olla to more exposed areas. While many sites like Diabolo are chosen specifically because they offer protection when the swell is high, others like Cap Freu are more distant and subject to open water conditions.

Many of the shallower sites, such as Cap L'Olla or Kleiner Käse, are accessible for those looking for calmer, less demanding environments, while the deeper walls and canyons are better suited to those with more experience.
