Four outdoor swimming pools, a beach area with loungers and parasols, a wellness centre and several places to eat or drink give the day a simple rhythm: sea, pool, meal, and somewhere comfortable to sit.

The hotel’s website is available in English, French and Spanish, so English-speaking guests can at least find their way through the hotel’s information in their own language. The atmosphere is geared towards couples, families and anyone who prefers a large, practical resort base to a small boutique address. There are 334 rooms, a children’s club, a playground and a games room, while the beachfront position keeps the sea in the picture rather than leaving it as a day trip.

The address is in Mojácar, on Spain’s Costa de Almería, directly beside Playa Morro de Gos. The beach is fine sand, with sun loungers and parasols, so reaching the shore does not require a shuttle, a taxi or a heroic march in flip-flops. Marina de la Torre beach is about 350 metres away, while La Rumina Beach is roughly 700 metres away.

There are a few easy options nearby when you fancy a change of scenery or a meal away from the buffet. Chiringuito Cala Marina is about 450 metres away, Pizzeria Imperial around 1 mile, and The Rusty Nail roughly 1 mile. Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park is about 7 miles away by road, giving you a substantial change of landscape when the pool begins to look too persuasive.

The family categories are the practical ones to look at when everyone needs to stay together; the sea-view versions make more sense when the balcony and the morning outlook matter more than being closest to the action. Access to the wellness centre, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and treatments is charged separately, so it is worth including that in your plans rather than assuming every part of the spa is part of the room stay.

There are four paddle-tennis courts, table tennis and billiards, while the nearby Marina Mojácar Golf Course is about 50 metres away. Live music, evening entertainment and televised sports give the common areas something to do after dinner. Families also have a children’s playground, kids’ club, children’s pool, water slide and games room.

Almeria Airport is about 47 miles away by road, with the drive taking around 52 minutes. Private parking is available in the hotel’s parking garage, and the property also has a lift, a 24-hour reception, private check-in and check-out, luggage storage, concierge service, a tour desk and currency exchange.

Check-in starts at 4 pm and check-out is by midday. You need photo identification and a payment card on arrival, and the minimum age for checking in alone is 18. Guests under 18 must arrive with a parent or official guardian. The hotel does not accept pets.
