The room choice is mainly about how much space and outlook you want. A standard double or twin works for two divers travelling light, while the sea-view version adds a balcony outlook for those who would rather see the coast than a wall when the curtains open. Garden-view and interior rooms keep the arrangement simpler. The two-bedroom apartment with balcony and sea view is the sensible choice for a small group or a family that wants separate sleeping areas and room to spread out.

Every room has a balcony, flat-screen TV, desk, wardrobe and refrigerator. That last item matters more than it sounds: cold water waiting after a hot, salty day is a small luxury with a very practical job. Air conditioning helps you recover when the Costa Blanca has been doing its warm-weather work, while the private bathroom includes a bath or shower, towels, toiletries and a hairdryer.

The triple room gives three people a proper option rather than asking two beds to perform a miracle. Families are welcome, and extra beds can be requested for children aged four and over. There are no cots, so younger families need to plan around that. A lift serves the building, although it does not operate during the first half of March.

Breakfast is served as a buffet, giving you the useful pre-dive choice between a quick plate and a more deliberate start. The breakfast arrangement varies with the accommodation plan and season, so check what is included for your dates rather than assuming the first coffee is automatically covered.

There is no hotel restaurant or bar to keep you tied to the building, but in this location that is hardly a logistical crisis. La Experienci is only a few steps away, and Bar Las Gaviotas, La Boheme, Floridita and Las Vegas are close enough for an evening meal or a drink without organising transport.

For the post-dive essentials, snack and drink vending machines are available on site. They will not replace dinner, but they can deal with the moment when you return hungry, thirsty and unwilling to conduct a full restaurant search before showering.

The coast does the heavy lifting here. Playa de l'Ampolla is within walking distance, and the hotel also lists snorkelling among the activities available around Moraira. You can make a simple beach day of it, change coves, or sit on the terrace and let the afternoon pass without pretending that every hour needs an itinerary.

Golf is another option, with Club de Golf Ifach around 7 miles away by road. The tour desk can help with local plans, while bicycle rental is available for exploring beyond the immediate centre. For nature, Cala del Portitxolet is close by and Peñón de Ifach Natural Park offers a larger outing further along the coast.

Back at the hotel, the garden terrace and shared lounge are the places for a quiet reset. There is also luggage storage, useful when your arrival or departure does not line up neatly with the room.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 21:00, and the hotel needs your expected arrival time in advance. Arrivals after 22:30 carry a surcharge, so this is worth sorting before travelling rather than hoping a late arrival will take care of itself. Check-out is by 12:00, which gives you a little breathing room on departure morning.

An airport shuttle is available, and bicycle hire can be arranged. Private parking is nearby and requires reservation; parking is therefore something to settle before arrival, especially if you are bringing a car.
