Plongée à Safaga en Egypte avec 3 Turtle Diving Center

Established in 2005, 3 Turtles Diving Center is a long-standing fixture in the Safaga diving scene. Situated just 300 metres from the marina, the centre provides a professional base for day trips and combined diving and Nile cruises.

The centre focuses on technical precision and safety, offering a variety of training standards including PADI, SDI, TDI, and CMAS. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day trip or formal certification, the facility is designed to support divers of all levels.

The centre is managed by Adham, an SDI Open Water Instructor and TDI Nitrox Instructor, and Tam Tam, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and EFR Instructor. This dual expertise ensures high-level instruction across various specialties.

Services are provided in both French and English. For younger divers, the centre offers specialised children's programmes starting from age 10, following strict international safety standards.

The training curriculum is extensive, covering everything from PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver to more advanced levels like Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver. For those looking to professionalise, Dive Master courses are available.

Specialty training is also a core part of the curriculum, with options including Nitrox, Wreck Diving, Navigation, Deep Diving, Drift Diving, and Sidemount. They also offer specific courses in Photography, Naturalism, and AWARE Reef Conservation.

The centre operates the Fox Safaga for daily excursions. The vessel provides lunch and drinks on board during trips, with both AIR and EANx 32% cylinders available for divers.

Full equipment rental is available on-site, including masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits (long and shorty), BCDs, regulators, and computers. Please note that dive computers are not included in the standard rental kit.

For those preferring to bring their own kit, the centre offers a complete rental package. Safety is a priority, with an on-site oxygen supply available for emergencies.

The local marine life is diverse, featuring various reef fish such as Anthias (Anthias), Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and schooling reef fish. You will often see Snappers (Lutjanidae), Batfish (Platax), and Glassfish (Atherinidae) moving through the water.

Larger pelagics and predators inhabit the area, including Grey reef sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos), Whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), and Barracuda (Sphyraena). You may also encounter Tuna (Thunnus), Eagle rays (Aetobatus), and Blue-spotted rays.

The seabed and reefs are home to many stationary species, including various types of stony corals, Soft coral (Alcyonacea), and Gorgonians (Gorgonacea). Sea anemones (Actiniaria) and giant sea fans provide essential habitat for residents like Clownfish (Amphiprion) and Longnose hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus).
