For a day away from the coast, the Moromi Folk Crafts Museum and Okinawa Zoo & Museum are within a few miles. Nakagusuku Castle is around 5 miles away, while the castle ruins at Zakimi are about 6 miles away. These are proper alternatives for a non-diving day, not merely a different place to sit with the same drink.

Naha Airport is around 40 minutes away by road. Car hire is available, and free private parking is provided on site without a reservation.
