The outdoor swimming pool is the obvious place to do very little, with the sun terrace and garden providing the setting for a slower afternoon. A children's pool is also available, and families have access to a kids' club and babysitting. If your idea of recovery involves movement rather than a lounger, the fitness centre and yoga are on site.

Princeville Spa is the more persuasive option when shoulders have had enough of carrying tanks. Its menu includes Thai massage, facial treatments, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, mud baths and body wraps.
