Treat the journey from the airport as part of the island logistics. Trat Airport is about 26 miles away by road, with a drive of around 1 hour 30 minutes. From the ferry, take a shared taxi towards Bang Bao and ask the driver to turn right for Cliff Cottage before reaching the Bang Bao pier.

The Boat House is the room to consider when you value breathing space more than a neat little footprint. The Castaway rooms work for a small family or a group needing an extra sleeping place, with twin-bed and king-bed arrangements available. Every room has a private entrance, seating area, towels, linen, a kettle and a drying rack for clothing.
