Cottage Hill sits away from the sand on a peaceful hill, with Klong Khong Beach around a 15-minute walk away, or roughly 0.6 miles. You get the beach without sleeping directly on it, which is useful if you prefer a quieter room once the sun has gone down.

Lantana Bar & Restaurant is about 0.3 miles away, while Friend House Restaurant & Tour and Klapa Klum Restaurant & Bar are each about 0.5 miles from the property. Saladan School is around 10 miles away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is about 9 miles away by road.

Krabi International Airport is roughly 50 miles away by road. The location works best if you want an island base with access to beaches, restaurants, excursions and the national park, rather than a town-centre address where everything happens outside your door.

Boat excursions, walking tours, cultural tours, cooking classes and visits to Lanta Old Town or Mu Ko Lanta National Park are among the ways to see more of the island. Snorkelling trips are also available away from the property, including excursions towards Koh Haa and Koh Rok.

Evenings can include live entertainment, themed dinner nights and billiards. For slower recovery, wellness options include massage, foot baths, body scrubs, beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures.
