The atmosphere is lively rather than remote, with other restaurants and bars nearby when you fancy a change of scene.

The property sits directly on Klong Khong Beach in Ko Lanta, in the central part of the island. You have a private beach area on site, with the sea forming the natural edge of the resort rather than being something you reach by shuttle. Klong Toab Beach is about 0.9 miles away, while Secret Beach is about 1 mile away.

Saladan Pier is 9 km from the bungalows, and the Sea Gypsy Village is 13 km away. Mu Ko Lanta National Park is about 8 miles away, giving you a straightforward route towards the island's southern landscapes. For nearby food and drinks, Friend House Restaurant & Tour is about 0.2 miles away, with Kinsenn Lanta and Lantana Bar & Restaurant also within easy reach.

Krabi International Airport is about 50 miles away by road. The central position works well if you want to divide your time between the beach, Saladan and the attractions further south, rather than staying tied to one small patch of coast.

The bungalows cover the basics that matter when you return sun-warmed, salt-covered and ready to stop moving. You can choose air conditioning or a fan, and every bungalow has a private bathroom with a shower. A refrigerator is useful for keeping water cold, while the private entrance means you can come and go without passing through a lobby in full holiday mode.

Balconies, patios or terraces give you somewhere to sit outside, and some accommodation has a garden view. The one-bedroom bungalows suit couples looking for a little separation from the main activity, while the Family Bungalow is the sensible choice when more than two people need to share without playing luggage Tetris all evening. For two people, the air-conditioned double bungalow offers the most space among the named couple-focused options.

The choice between air conditioning and a fan changes the night more than a decorative cushion ever will. Air conditioning gives you a cooler recovery after a hot day outdoors; the fan option keeps the room simpler. Television with satellite channels, linen, towels and a hot shower are also part of the practical setup, and the room categories are all on the ground floor.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with freshly prepared international dishes alongside local and European choices. That gives you a useful range on a day when you want familiar food, and another when you would rather stay with the island. There is one beach bar: Our beach bar. It serves cold beers and drinks directly by the sand, which is a fairly sound arrangement when the alternative is putting on proper shoes. The snack offering includes sandwiches, burgers and similar quick options, useful when lunch needs to be fast or when dinner is still some distance away.

Special-diet menus are available on request. A tea and coffee maker is also provided, giving you a modest first drink before the day gets properly under way.

The outdoor swimming pool gives you a second place to cool down when you want water without sand. You can follow it with a massage, or simply take a seat in the garden and let the afternoon go quiet at its own pace. There is also a shared lounge and TV area for the occasional spell when the weather, or your energy level, makes staying indoors the sensible choice.

Billiards adds a low-effort contest for the evening, provided everyone agrees that post-dive coordination is a flexible concept. Bicycle rental is available if you want to explore under your own power, while motorbike rental makes the longer island outings more practical.

The tour desk can arrange excursions, including visits to Lanta Old Town and Saladan market, as well as trips towards Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Mook and Emerald Cave, Koh Churk, Koh Rok and Phi Phi. Boat excursions are also available. For a slower day, the on-site beach area is already there, requiring no planning beyond walking towards it.

Krabi International Airport is the main arrival point, and the hotel offers private airport transfers by bus. You can arrange the transfer directly with the hotel. Car hire, motorbike rental and tour-desk assistance are available for getting around Ko Lanta, while free public parking is provided on site without a reservation.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 22:00, and check-out from 07:00 to 11:00. Private check-in and check-out, luggage storage and a safety deposit box are available, which is useful if your travel day does not line up neatly with the room timetable.
