The team at Island Divers consists of 11 instructors, providing a high level of supervision for both students and recreational divers. To ensure personalized attention and safety, the centre maintains a strict ratio of no more than 4 divers per guide.

The centre is affiliated with both PADI and SSI, allowing for a wide range of international certification pathways. They cater to a global clientele, with the ability to communicate in English, French, and Spanish.

Island Divers offers a complete progression of training through PADI and SSI. Beginners can start with the Discover Scuba Dive programme or work towards their Open Water Diver certification.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre provides Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster courses. This allows divers to move from basic reef exploration into more technical or professional levels of diving.

The reefs around Havelock are home to a vast array of tropical fish. You can find large schools of fusiliers, jacks (Carangidae), and snappers (Lutjanus). Wrasse (Labridae), parrotfish (Calotomus), and various species of angelfish (Pomacanthidae) add colour to the coral formations, while surgeonfish (Acanthuridae) and bannerfish (Heniochus) are common sights.

For those interested in larger pelagics, the area hosts whitetip reef sharks (Triaenodon obesus), blacktip sharks, and occasionally reef sharks (Carcharhinus). You may also encounter sea turtles (Cheloniidae), such as the Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), alongside various rays including stingrays and marbled rays.
