Hotel San Prudentzio

Set in the San Prudentzio neighbourhood of Getaria, Hotel San Prudentzio is a small hotel surrounded by vineyards and nature. To reach the hotel by car, you pass through Getaria and then follow the signs for Barrio Askizu and San Prudentzio after roughly 1 km.

The nearest listed beach, Playa de Gaztetape, is about 1 km away as the crow flies and around 0.9 miles by car. Playa de Malkorbe is about 1.1 miles away on foot or 1.6 miles by car, while Santiago Beach is around 1.9 miles on foot. This is coastal country, but you will want a car for the easier beach-hopping option.

For a change of scenery, Zarautz is about a ten-minute drive away and San Sebastián is 17 miles from the hotel. The nearest listed rail stations are Zumaia, 3.4 miles away by car, and Zarautz, 3.7 miles away.

The room choice is mainly about how you want to use the space. If sea views matter, choose a category with a balcony or terrace: most rooms have one, and several look towards the coast. A terrace also gives you somewhere to sit with your first coffee without immediately putting shoes back on.

For a couple who wants a little more of an evening ritual, the Suite with Spa Bath is the obvious choice. The terrace rooms suit you better if outdoor space and the view matter more than having the spa bath.
