You are in Benalmádena, Spain, in the Costa del Sol, with the Mediterranean around 0.2 miles away on foot. Santa Ana Beach is about 0.3 miles from the resort, and Bil Bil Beach about 0.5 miles. This is not a hotel marooned behind a dual carriageway: shops, bars, restaurants, banks, parks and local amenities are all within walking distance.

Parque de la Paloma is roughly 0.6 miles away, useful when you want a leg-stretch that does not involve fins. Benalmádena–Arroyo de la Miel railway station is around 0.8 miles away on foot. Malaga Airport is about 9 miles away by road, with the resort positioned for both the coast and the wider Costa del Sol.

The accommodation is apartment-based, which changes the rhythm of a diving holiday. You have a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, oven, hob, toaster, kettle and kitchenware, plus a dining table and a separate seating area with a sofa. That gives you somewhere to put breakfast before an early departure, and somewhere to eat without turning the bed into a dining room after a long day in the water.

Couples who prefer more elbow room can choose a one-bedroom apartment or premium suite, while larger groups have two- and three-bedroom layouts, with the largest option offering two bathrooms. The two-bedroom apartments make more sense when everyone wants a proper room rather than a carefully negotiated sofa-bed arrangement; family rooms are part of the offer, and children of any age are welcome.

Air conditioning and heating cover the less glamorous but important part of the trip: sleeping properly after sun, salt and exertion. Private bathrooms include towels, a hairdryer and either a bath or shower. Balconies and terraces give you outdoor space, while free WiFi is available in the apartments. Pizzeria Poesia Restaurant handles lunch and dinner with Italian cooking, and the Club House and restaurant-pizzeria also cover snacks and meals. Breakfast is continental, with fresh fruit included, while the kitchens in the apartments give you a second route when you want coffee, toast or something more substantial at your own pace. A minimarket on site helps with the small provisions that become surprisingly important once you are back from the sea.

The resort can also arrange or support outings to Sea Life, Selwo Marina, the cable car and Malaga. Live sports broadcasts cover the evenings when nobody has the energy for sightseeing but somebody still wants to know the score.

Arrival is organised within a narrow window, from 3pm to 5pm, and you need to tell the property when you expect to arrive. Photo identification and a payment card are required at check-in; the minimum check-in age is 21. Check-out is by 10am, so plan the final morning around an early start rather than a leisurely brunch.

Free public parking is available nearby, but spaces cannot be reserved. Car hire, a tour desk, concierge service and luggage storage are available, while laundry is also offered. WiFi is free in the apartments. A refundable damage deposit is collected on arrival by card and returned after the property has been inspected at check-out.

The resort uses card-access gates and has private entrances, but parts of the village-style layout are not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. A lower-floor apartment can be requested, subject to availability. Cots can be requested for children aged up to two, while extra beds are not available. Pets are not allowed, cash is not accepted, and hen and stag parties are not permitted.
