For a more active afternoon, cycling and hiking are available, and bicycles can be rented. Windsurfing is another option, while a golf course is located within 3 miles. Mini golf provides a gentler contest if the group wants an activity but nobody is keen to take on another serious sporting challenge.

The beach remains close enough to shape the day without requiring transport. You can walk down for the sand, return to the apartment for a shower and use the indoor pool or garden when the legs have had enough. Car hire and a tour desk are available for exploring beyond Platja d'Aro, and luggage storage helps when the arrival or departure does not line up neatly with the room.

Check-in is from 16:00 to 19:00, and you need to tell the property your expected arrival time. If you arrive later than 19:00, key collection must be arranged in advance. Check-out is by 10:00, so the morning departure is a fairly early one. The minimum age for check-in is 18.
