Terminal 21 is close enough to make an unplanned shopping trip entirely possible. Emporium, EmQuartier and EmSphere are one BTS stop away, while QSNCC and Benjakitti Park are one MRT stop away. Benjasiri Park is about 1 mile away, and the larger Lumpini Park is about 1.4 miles away if you want greenery rather than another shopping centre.

The restaurant is open daily until late evening.

There are two bars. The Pool Bar keeps drinks close to the swimming pool and focuses on signature cocktails, while the Lobby Bar covers spirits, wines, cocktails, coffees and light bites in a seated setting. It stays open until 01:00. Room service runs around the clock, so a late arrival or a post-travel appetite does not require a negotiation with the city.

The outdoor swimming pool is on the fourth floor, next to Mexicano Restaurante Autentico, with pool towels, sun loungers and umbrellas available for the time when you want water without a mask, a regulator or a boat briefing. The Pool Bar is right there as well. That is a useful arrangement for a quiet afternoon: swim, sit down, order something cold and avoid pretending that every spare hour needs an itinerary.

If your legs still require a formal explanation of the day's exercise, the fitness centre is on the 24th floor and has city views. You can make it a short session or a proper workout while looking over Bangkok's skyline. There is also a sun terrace, a terrace and an outdoor fireplace, giving you a few different places to sit when the room feels too enclosed.

A cooking class is available for a more active evening, and the tour desk can help arrange cultural excursions. Benjakitti Park, Benjasiri Park and Sukhumvit Park are nearby alternatives when you need a walk rather than another cocktail.
