You can make the stay as sociable or as self-contained as you like. Eat downstairs, take a drink up to the rooftop, or retreat to an air-conditioned room with a city view, a seating area and soundproofing. It is a practical base for a Bangkok stopover, particularly if you want shopping, food and museums close at hand rather than a resort-style escape.

The address is on Rama 1 Road, opposite the National Stadium, in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district. BTS National Stadium is about a four-minute walk away, putting the city’s rail network within easy reach; BTS Ratchathewi is around 0.6 miles away. That makes the location useful when Bangkok traffic is doing its usual impression of a parking experiment.

Siam Paragon, CentralWorld and MBK Center are within easy walking distance, while Jim Thompson House is around 0.2 miles away and SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World about 0.7 miles away. For a drink with the city spread below, Paradise Lost Rooftop Bar occupies the twenty-fifth floor. It specialises in signature cocktails made with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, alongside late-night favourites, independent DJs and performers. There is also a coffee house, a bar and minibars in the accommodation, so you can keep the evening going without making another expedition.

The Rooftop Pool sits on the eleventh floor, with an infinity edge and panoramic views over Bangkok and the National Stadium. It is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00 and reserved for registered hotel guests, with attendants on duty from 10:30 to 20:00. After a hot day in the city, this is the place for a slow surface interval of a different kind.

The fitness centre stays open around the clock and uses Life Fitness equipment for cardio and weight training. Access is limited to hotel guests, with a key card, sportswear and proper shoes required. No heroic workout is necessary; a short session is enough to remind the legs that they are still expected to function.
