Deep People Freediving

Located in the Khanh Khoa province near Nha Trang, Deep People Freediving has been operating since 2014. The school focuses on the discipline of breath-hold diving, teaching students how to connect with the underwater environment through controlled breathing and efficient movement.

Training takes place in the ocean, specifically around the waters of Hon Mun Island. The school provides a structured environment for those looking to develop their physical capabilities and mental relaxation through the SSI freediving curriculum.

The school was founded by Tatiana Borisova and Aleksandra Borisova, a mother and daughter team of professional instructors. Tatiana is an SSI Freediving Instructor Trainer, while Aleksandra is an SSI Freediving Instructor. They bring a wealth of experience to the centre, holding over 350 certifications across various levels.

Joining the team is Juliia Vorobeva, an SSI Freediving Instructor. The instructors focus on teaching safe techniques, including effective equalisation and proper breathing protocols before and after each dive. The centre operates with a professional approach to both standard freediving and specialised mermaid courses.

The curriculum is fully aligned with SSI standards, covering everything from introductory sessions to professional qualifications. Beginners can start with a Try Freediving session or the SSI Freediver (Level 1) course. Progression continues through SSI Freediving Level 2 and SSI Performance Freediver (Level 3).

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers Mermaid courses, including the Ocean Mermaid course, as well as training in techniques like React Right and Snorkeling Instructor. Professional pathways are also available, including the Master course, the SSI Freediving Instructor Course, and the Mermaid Instructor Course. The 'From Zero to Hero' programme provides an intensive route for dedicated students.

The centre provides a complete range of equipment for hire, ensuring you have the necessary kit for your sessions. This includes wetsuits, masks, fins, and other essential items required for breath-hold diving.
