The atmosphere is that of a proper holiday village rather than a small hideaway. There are organised activities, evening entertainment, family facilities and places to sit outside, while the accommodation gives you a kitchenette and a separate living area. That matters when one person wants an early night, another wants a drink, and nobody wants to whisper around a single hotel room.

Bicycle rental and a golf course within 3 km add further options when the legs are willing but the sea is not.

The resort also runs fitness activities and yoga classes, with a fitness centre available. There is no need to build the entire holiday around exertion, thankfully: the garden, shared lounge and outdoor seating give you lower-energy alternatives. Evening entertainment includes themed nights, concerts and games, while live music, karaoke and a games room keep the social side going without requiring a trip into town.
