The year-round outdoor swimming pool is the obvious place to cool down without making another trip to the coast. Sun loungers, beach chairs and umbrellas are arranged around the outdoor areas, with a sun terrace and garden for the slower part of the afternoon. No timetable is required; you can swim, read or simply remain horizontal, which is sometimes the most ambitious plan after a dive.

The beaches around Bocca d'Oro give you several alternatives when you want sand rather than a pool. Santa Giulia, Tamaricciu and Palombaggia are all within a short drive, while Acciaju is the closest named beach. The residence is also well placed for a change of scenery inland, with the forest of Ospedale around 20 minutes away by car and the Bavella peaks further on for a proper walking day.

For a cultural outing, Bonifacio is around 25 minutes away by car. Its limestone setting gives you something different from the beach circuit, and it is close enough to make a half-day or evening excursion rather than a logistical expedition.

Free private parking is available on site, with no reservation needed. That is particularly useful here, since the beaches, Porto-Vecchio, the supermarket and the inland excursions are all easier by car. Luggage storage and concierge service are available, and you can leave your bags at reception when your arrival or departure does not line up neatly with the apartment.
