Alpha Beluga is located in the centre of the Port de Fréjus, positioned conveniently near the local amenities of the marina. The centre serves as a hub for both leisure divers and those looking to formalise their skills through structured training programmes.

Operating with a focus on well-being and stress management, the centre provides a professional environment for exploring the varied underwater landscapes of the Var region. From shallow reef flats to deeper wreck dives, the local waters offer a diverse playground for Mediterranean diving.

The team is composed of qualified diving instructors capable of guiding divers from their very first bubbles through to advanced professional levels. They manage a wide array of programmes, ensuring that every diver, from a beginner on a discovery dive to a seasoned professional, receives appropriate guidance.

The centre maintains affiliations with both SSI and FFESSM, allowing them to cater to different certification requirements and training styles. This dual approach ensures that whether you follow a recreational path or a more traditional French federation route, your progression is well-supported.

The training catalogue is extensive, covering everything from the Scuba Explorer and Open Water Diver courses to advanced professional paths like Divemaster. The centre offers a complete suite of SSI specialties, including Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and Nitrox, as well as skills-focused training such as Buoyancy and Stress & Rescue.

For divers following the French federation route, the centre provides FFESSM training from Niveau 1 through to Niveau 4. They also offer specialised courses in marine ecology, biology, and technical diving, alongside RIFAP and first aid training for those interested in safety and rescue.

The centre operates two vessels to facilitate dives. The primary boat is a 15-metre vessel with a capacity for 30 divers, equipped with all necessary gear on board to ensure a smooth transition from the quay to the dive site.

In addition to the main boat, a smaller 20-capacity boat is available for trips. Both vessels allow for efficient access to the surrounding dive sites, including night dives and explorations of local wrecks.

For those who prefer not to carry their own heavy kit, a full range of rental equipment is available on-site. This includes wetsuits, regulators, BCDs, computers, and torches for night diving. You can also hire essential mask, snorkel, and fin sets.

To assist with underwater documentation, the centre provides camera and GoPro rentals. For those looking to specialise in photography or videography, having the right kit is essential for capturing the Mediterranean's marine life.
