Easy Divers Rhodes

Located in the Charaki area of Rhodes, Easy Divers Rhodes is a PADI 5 Star dive centre built on over two decades of experience in the industry. The centre represents a continuation of a long-standing diving tradition, having previously operated the Lesvos Scuba Oceanic Centre before establishing its presence here.

The local diving environment is defined by calm, clear waters and an absence of strong currents, making it a reliable destination for those looking to build their skills. From the shallow reef flats to the historical underwater structures, the area offers a variety of environments for both recreational divers and those pursuing professional qualifications.

The team is led by experienced professionals, including George Filios, a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and 3* CMAS Instructor, and Tanja Matijevic, who holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science. Other instructors on staff include Dimitris Tzimas, a PADI Specialty Instructor, and Victor Reyes, a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Instruction is provided in English, Dutch, and German. The centre also hosts internship programmes for divers looking to progress through the PADI professional tiers, such as Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Scuba Diver course, moving through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers PADI specialties including Deep Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Enriched Air Diver. Professional candidates can train for Divemaster, Open Water Scuba Instructor, and the Instructor Development Course (IDC). Additional training is also available in Digital Underwater Photography and Search & Recovery Diver.

The centre operates the Isalos, a custom-made 10m dive boat equipped with a 300 hp Suzuki four-stroke outboard engine. It is designed to carry up to 12 divers comfortably for excursions around the coast.

For smaller groups or specific needs, the centre also utilises an 8m plastic boat. On scheduled trips, snacks, fruit, and beverages are provided to divers on board.

The centre maintains a high standard of equipment, providing full rental kits using modern Scubapro gear that is serviced annually. For those interested in underwater photography, camera rentals are available.

On-site air is supplied via top-of-the-line L&W compressors. Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom times or manage nitrogen loading during multi-dive days.

Diving in Rhodes is best experienced from April to November. During this period, the area is known for an absence of strong currents and the absence of rough seas, providing stable conditions for most divers.

Visibility is typically excellent, regularly measuring between 25 and 30 metres, which allows for clear sightlines even on deeper dives.
