Palma de Mallorca Airport is around an hour’s drive away. Manacor railway station is about 11 miles away by road, so the sensible arrival plan is a transfer or a hire car rather than a heroic attempt to navigate the island with luggage in tow.

The accommodation is built around suites, with family arrangements available for different combinations of adults and children. That makes the format more useful than a standard double when you need somewhere to put people, clothes and the general debris of an active holiday. If sitting still becomes too ambitious, bicycles and bike tours are available, as are walking tours. Hiking is possible away from the property, and a golf course lies within 2 miles. Live music and entertainment staff provide something for the evening without requiring you to leave the hotel in search of a programme.
