You have a private entrance, outdoor areas for sitting and dining, and a setting built for slowing down without turning the whole stay into a formal resort performance.

There is also enough here for a sports-minded break: canoeing, snorkelling and hiking are all available, while the kitchen and laundry facilities make a longer stay easier to manage.

You are in Vaianae, French Polynesia, on Moorea’s western side, moving between the Atiha and Haapiti passes. The property is directly on the beachfront, with a private beach area and the garden between the house and the surrounding landscape. Moorea’s mountains are close enough to shape the evening air, while the sea is part of the address rather than a distant excursion.

Two grocery shops are within a five-minute walk, and the minimarket on site covers the sort of small necessities that tend to become urgent once you are back from the water. Poissonnerie Snack Moorea Seafood is about 1 mile away, while Pizza Daniel is around 3 miles away. Tiahura Public Beach and its restaurants are about 7 miles away, and Vaiare wharf is around 11 miles away.

Moorea Airport is about 13 miles away by car, with a driving time of roughly 25 minutes. Tahiti International Airport is around 30 miles away by car, with the wider island-and-ferry journey taking considerably longer.

Car hire is worth considering if you want to reach Tiahura, the restaurants around the island or the Vaiare wharf without arranging every outing around someone else’s timetable.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 17:00 and check-out from 08:00 to 10:00. Tell the property your expected arrival time in advance; a photo ID and credit card are requested at check-in. Payment is made in cash at the property, with payment before arrival by bank transfer. A refundable damage deposit is collected on arrival and returned at check-out after the property has been inspected.
