Located in Key Largo, Amoray Dive Center serves as both a dedicated dive centre and a full-service resort. The facility is positioned for easy access to the Florida Keys, situated roughly one hour from Miami International Airport and two hours from Key West.

As a Gold Palm rated resort, the centre is designed to integrate your diving schedule with your stay. The site features a dock that provides direct access to the dive boats, allowing for a seamless transition from your accommodation to the water.

The dive team is composed of experienced and dedicated professionals who manage both the training programmes and the daily boat excursions. Their focus is on maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness across all resort facilities.

For those returning to the water after a hiatus, the centre provides necessary support through refresher courses. If your last dive was more than two years ago, a refresher course is required to ensure you are comfortable with your skills and equipment before heading out on a boat.

The centre provides a comprehensive range of training through various certification programmes. Beginners can start with the Discover Scuba Diving programme, which leads into the standard Open Water Diver course.

For those looking to progress their skills, the centre offers Advanced Open Water Diver training and other specialised certifications. The instructors are available to guide you through these different levels of competency to suit your experience.

The on-site dive shop is fully equipped to handle the needs of both recreational and advanced divers. For those not travelling with their own kit, a full range of equipment is available for hire, including masks, fins, and snorkels.

Beyond the dive shop, the resort provides various non-motorised watercraft such as kayaks and paddleboards. For those staying on-site, a free laundry facility is available to help manage your kit during your trip.

The reefs around Key Largo are home to a diverse array of marine life. You can expect to see large schools of reef fish, including various species of snapper, grunts, and sergeant majors. It is common to encounter many different types of tropical fish and colourful fish moving through the coral structures.

Larger pelagics and reef residents frequently visit these waters. Divers often spot various species of turtles, such as the Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) and the Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta). You may also see rays, including Southern stingrays (Hypanus americanus) and spotted eagle rays, gliding along the bottom.

Predators and larger fish are also part of the local ecosystem. Keep an eye out for the Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), various sharks including Caribbean reef sharks and Reef shark (Carcharhinus), as well as Grouper (Epinephelus) and Amberjack (Seriola) patrolling the area.

The seabed and reef structures provide habitat for a variety of smaller creatures. You will find Spiny lobster (Palinuridae), various species of crab, and many types of shrimp. The reef itself is built upon a foundation of corals and Sponge (Porifera), often decorated with Christmas tree tubeworms.
