1Peace Divers is a private, family-run operation situated on a quiet, horseshoe-shaped beach in the village of Anda, Bohol. Since opening in 2017, the centre has focused on providing a calm environment away from the typical tourist crowds. It is located directly within the 1Peace Beach Resort, which sits on a private stretch of white sand.

The centre is positioned just 20 metres from the main entry point. This proximity allows for seamless transitions between the resort and the water, whether you are preparing for a shore dive or boarding the boat. The layout is designed for convenience, with dedicated racks and storage areas for your kit located right by the water's edge.

The team consists of four instructors capable of guiding you through various levels of training and exploration. They operate in an environment that prioritises a personalised approach, catering to both those looking for their first experience in the water and more advanced divers.

Communication is straightforward for international visitors, as the staff are multilingual, speaking English, French, and Spanish. This makes the centre a practical choice for divers who prefer instruction or briefing in a language they are most comfortable with.

As a PADI affiliated centre, 1Peace Divers offers a complete range of training programmes. Beginners can start with the Scuba Discovery Dive or the Young discovery dive for children aged 8 to 10. The full progression continues through to the Open Water Scuba Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to advance their professional skills, the centre provides Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses. They also facilitate shore-based fun dives for certified divers looking to explore the local reef.

The centre operates the Lisa, a 16-metre bangka designed to carry up to 8 divers. The boat is used for trips to more distant sites, with the furthest locations being approximately a 25-minute journey from the shore.

The Lisa returns to the beach to allow for easy cylinder changes between dives. For night dives, the boat is available to take you out to the dive sites after sunset.

The centre provides Aquamundo equipment, which is maintained daily to ensure reliability. For those renting a full rig, the wetsuits feature custom zippers to suit individual needs, and the regulators and cylinders are compatible with both DIN and Yoke connections.

On-shore facilities are practical and well-organised, including a changing room, sinks for rinsing kit, and drying racks. The training area is located in a shallow, calm, and protected zone of the beach, making it a safe space for practicing skills or conducting beginner courses.

The house reef is just a short swim from the shore, offering immediate access to a healthy marine environment. You can regularly observe various species of tropical fish, moray eels, and octopus amongst the corals. Turtles and various crustaceans, including crabs and shrimp, are also frequently seen in the area.

For macro enthusiasts, the reef holds a variety of smaller life. You can find nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, cuttlefish, and Spanish dancers. Banded sea snakes also inhabit the area, providing plenty for those with a keen eye for detail.

Seasonal visitors may include eagle rays and whale sharks, though their presence depends on the time of year.
