El Dive

El Dive is a well-established PADI diving centre situated in the centre of El Nido, Palawan. Since opening in 2013, the centre has become a local fixture for those looking to explore the Bacuit Bay, a protected area famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs and vast marine biodiversity.

The centre is run by an experienced team of local professionals who have been operating in the region for over a decade. All instruction is conducted in English, ensuring clear communication for international divers.

Safety and individual attention are central to their approach. The instructor-to-diver ratios are carefully managed: 4:1 for Open Water courses, 6:1 for Advanced and Divemaster training, and a strict 2:1 ratio for beginners or those undertaking refresher dives.

The centre offers a full range of PADI certifications to suit your experience level. This includes the foundational Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, as well as Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder training.

For those looking to pursue a professional career in diving, the Divemaster course is available on-site.

All diving kit is included in the various course and trip packages. The centre provides all the necessary equipment for your dives, so you do not need to bring your own heavy gear.

For those training, the centre offers various PADI courses and includes transfers for the Open Water program. On the boat, snacks, fruit, and drinks are provided to keep you hydrated and fueled between dives.

The reefs of Bacuit Bay are home to a vast array of marine life, including various species of snapper, butterflyfish, and triggerfish. You can also encounter surgeonfish, clownfish, and anemone fish amongst the corals.

Larger pelagics and reef residents include sea turtles, rays, jacks, and various species of snapper. If you look closely at the reef structure, you may also spot pipefish.

For macro enthusiasts, the area offers sightings of nudibranchs and banded coral shrimps.
