Located in Chalong, Namloo Divers has established itself as the first PADI certified recreational dive centre on Phuket island. With ten years of experience operating in these waters, this family-run centre has built a reputation for focused, personalised instruction and high safety standards.

Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or advancing through professional levels, the centre provides a structured path through the PADI curriculum. Their operations range from local day trips to extended liveaboard expeditions across the Andaman Sea.

The team at Namloo Divers is composed of highly experienced professionals capable of conducting courses from the PADI Bubblemaker level up to the PADI Divemaster and IDC (Instructor Development Course) levels. Instruction is delivered in both English and Thai.

Safety is managed with a strict ratio of one guide for every four divers. This ensures that even during more complex dives, you have the necessary attention. The centre is also committed to marine protection, actively participating in Project AWARE and Go Eco Phuket initiatives.

Namloo Divers offers a comprehensive suite of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Scuba Diver course, while children can begin with the PADI Bubblemaker or PADI Seal Team programmes.

Advanced divers can progress through the Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water, and Master Scuba Diver courses. For those pursuing a career in diving, the centre provides training up to the PADI Divemaster level and the Instructor Development Course (IDC). Emergency First Responder (EFR) training is also available.

The fleet is divided into three classes to suit different preferences. The Gold Class features a steel-hulled vessel with twin engines, capable of carrying 21 passengers. The Silver Class consists of a steel boat with twin 450cv engines, while the Platinum Class offers a renovated sailing vessel powered by a single 380cv engine.

Onboard facilities include a dive deck, freshwater showers, and toilets. For longer trips, the liveaboard options provide a range of accommodation from quad and triple cabins to deluxe cabins with private air-conditioned bathrooms and a Master cabin with panoramic views. Guests can also enjoy a lounge area with a TV/DVD player, a library of diving books and magazines, and air-conditioning. Meals served on board include buffet-style Thai and Western cuisine, alongside snacks, fruit, tea, coffee, chocolate, juice, and sodas.

For those who prefer to use their own kit, full rental sets are available, including a BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel, and dive computer.

Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The centre's shore-based facilities include freshwater showers and electricity access for charging electronics.

The Andaman Sea surrounding Phuket is home to a wide variety of marine life. You can frequently encounter dolphins in these waters, alongside a diverse range of reef species.

In the deeper sections and around the rock formations, the ecosystem is rich with various species. The area is known for its diverse marine life, which changes depending on the specific site and current conditions.

Diving in the region is influenced by the seasonal patterns of the Andaman Sea. While specific seasonal swell and current data varies by site, the temperature remains consistently warm, typically ranging between 27°C and 35°C.
