Phi Phi Cabana Diving offers a complete spectrum of SSI courses. Beginners can start with Try Scuba Diving, which is available in one, two, or three-day programmes, leading into the Open Water Diver qualification.

For those looking to advance their skills, the curriculum includes Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, and Perfect Buoyancy. More specialised training is also available, such as Wreck Diving and Photo & Video.

Professional and safety-focused training is also a core part of their offering, including the Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses, as well as the React Right programme and Scuba Review for those looking to refresh their skills.

The reefs are teeming with life, including large schools of tropical fish, colourful corals, and various species of anemonefish. You will regularly see reef sharks, such as the blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus), cruising the area alongside green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata).

Pelagic visitors include various rays, stingrays, and occasionally larger species like the whale shark (Rhincodon typus). You might also spot groupers (Epinephelus), snapper (Lutjanus), and various types of barracuda.

For those with an eye for detail, the macro life is abundant. Look closely for nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs (Brachyura), and octopuses (Octopus vulgaris). You can also find various species of scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae), frogfish (Antennarius), and seahorses (Hippocampus kuda) amongst the reef structure.

The seabed and reef crevices are home to moray eels (Muraenidae), various species of cuttlefish (Sepiidae), and several types of crustaceans, including lobster (Homaridae).

The best time to visit the Phi Phi islands is from November to May, when the sea is generally calm. During this period, you can expect more favourable conditions for diving.

While currents can be moderate, especially around certain island sites, the area is accessible to a wide range of divers depending on the specific location and expertise.
