Located in Patong, Phuket, Scubadeep has been a fixture of the local diving community for over ten years. As an SSI Diamond Level centre, they have established a reputation for high standards in both recreational and technical diving operations.

The centre operates daily excursions to some of the most significant sites in the region, including the Phi Phi Islands and the Racha Islands. The team is composed of accredited SSI instructors who provide training in English and Thai. They focus on maintaining small group sizes to ensure that instruction remains personal and safety remains the priority.

The M/V Sirolo is the primary vessel used for excursions, departing from Chalong Pier. It is configured to host daily trips that can include up to three dives per day.

The reefs around Phuket are teeming with life, from large pelagics to colourful reef fish. You can expect to see various species of sharks, including blacktip reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and Bamboo sharks. Large schools of fish such as snappers, fusiliers, and jacks are common, alongside the presence of turtles and various rays like marbled rays and blue-spotted rays.

The hard and soft coral structures provide a complex habitat for a vast array of species. Look for angelfish, butterflyfish, and damselfish navigating the reef, as well as surgeonfish, unicornfish, and triggerfish amongst the corals.

For macro enthusiasts, the area offers plenty of detail to discover. You may encounter nudibranchs, flamboyant cuttlefish, and various species of shrimp, including cleaner shrimp and dancing shrimp. Keep an eye out for the ornate ghost pipefish, seahorses, and different types of pipefish tucked into the reef structure.
