Located in Chalong, Kiwidivers has established itself as a specialist training and instruction centre in South East Asia. With over 15 years of experience, the centre has built a reputation for maintaining high safety standards and technical expertise.

The centre serves a wide spectrum of divers, from those looking for their first Discover Scuba Diving experience to seasoned technical divers. Its location in Phuket provides easy access to the region's most iconic marine environments, including protected marine parks and significant wreck sites.

As an IDC centre affiliated with both PADI and SSI, Kiwidivers is staffed by highly qualified professionals, including SSI Platinum instructors. This level of expertise ensures that training is delivered with precision, whether you are working through your Open Water Diver course or pursuing an Instructor Course.

The team is experienced in handling both recreational and technical curricula. Instruction is available in English and French, making it a versatile choice for international divers operating in the Andaman Sea.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full range of PADI and SSI certifications. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving and progress through Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver, up to the Divemaster level.

For technical divers, the centre offers a sophisticated curriculum. This includes Twinset Fundamentals, Tec 40, Tec 45, Tec 50, and advanced Trimix courses such as Tec Trimix 65 and Tec Trimix 90. They also provide specialised training in Sidemount and Rebreather diving, including Advanced Rebreather courses, as well as the Tec Sidemount Instructor Course.

The centre operates large boats equipped with sun decks for relaxing between dives. For full-day trips, delicious meals with generous portions are served on board. Transportation to the boat is included for certain packages depending on the selected dive zone.

The shore-based facilities include two classrooms, a dedicated equipment room, and shower facilities. For those opting for fun dive packages, high-quality rental kit is included, covering the essential components of your diving rig.

Technical divers will find Nitrox available for use. The centre is well-equipped to support advanced profiles, including the availability of Trimix and rebreather support.

The reefs are teeming with life, from colourful angelfish and clownfish to larger species like groupers and snappers. You will frequently encounter sea turtles and various rays gliding over the seabed.

Predators also frequent these waters, with barracuda and moray eels often seen patrolling the reef. At Shark Point, leopard sharks are a regular sight among the soft corals.

Macro life enthusiasts can look for smaller inhabitants tucked away in the crevices, including various species of shrimp and smaller reef fish.

The best time to visit the area is between October and February. During this period, the conditions are generally most favourable for diving in Phuket.

In the bays of Racha Noi and Racha Yai, currents are typically minimal, providing calm conditions for training. Visibility across the region can reach up to 20 metres.
