English is spoken by the hotel team, alongside German, Spanish and Norwegian. That matters when you are checking an arrival detail, sorting out a room request or simply trying to explain that the day’s diving has left you hungry rather than sociable. The hotel also has a broad daytime and evening entertainment programme, with live music and professional shows for those who still have energy after the sea has taken its share.

All-inclusive is available, alongside other board options. In practical terms, this is a substantial resort rather than a small hideaway: five swimming pools, a large sun terrace, restaurants, a wellness centre, a gym and a multi-sports court all sit within the property.

The address is Avenida La Cornisa, in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, Spain, set into the cliff area between Puerto Rico and Amadores. The hotel is not directly on the sand, so beach days involve a walk rather than a lift ride from your room to the shore.

Amadores Beach is about 0.9 miles away on foot, while Playa de Puerto Rico is around 0.4 miles away by the hotel’s stated access route. Playa de Tauro is roughly 0.8 miles away, and Playa Los Frailes sits about 1.4 miles from the property. Anfi Beach is farther afield, at about 2.8 miles on foot.

For two divers travelling as a couple, a standard Double Room keeps things straightforward, with twin beds and the essentials for a night’s recovery. If you want more breathing room, the Superior categories and Junior Suites give you a broader layout; the Junior Suites can also accommodate three guests.

Sea view options are available, although some are described as limited. That wording is worth taking seriously: choose a full sea-view category if the horizon is part of the reason you are coming, rather than assuming every elevated room has the same outlook. The duplex superior room with private pool is reserved for adults, while a superior room with pool access puts the water closer to your door.

Air conditioning and soundproofing are useful combinations when you need to cool down and sleep properly after warm water, a long boat day and a dinner that ran later than planned. Rooms also have a refrigerator and an electric kettle, so you can keep drinks cold and make something hot without staging a full expedition. The adults-only area has infinity views over the ocean and is the natural choice when you want a quieter spell away from the family facilities. The wellness centre includes spa facilities, an open-air bath, a public bath and a hot tub or Jacuzzi, with massages available for an extra charge. There is also a fitness centre, although nobody will judge you for choosing the lounger instead.

Families have a large set of options of their own: a kids’ club, playground, indoor play area, games room, children’s pool, water slides and a water park. For adults travelling without children, the multi-sports court, billiards, bicycle hire and a golf course within 3 km offer alternatives to pool time. Evening entertainment and live music keep the day moving, though the soundproofing in the rooms is welcome if your own evening ends earlier.

Check-in runs from 15:00 to midnight, and check-out is from 07:00 to 12:00. You need photo identification and a credit card at arrival, and the hotel asks you to share your expected arrival time in advance.
