Air conditioning matters here: after salt, sun and a day spent moving between boat and shore, a cool room is not a decorative extra. The Talasso Natura Spa offers massages, mud baths, a sauna, jacuzzi and Vichy shower. Beauty treatments include facials, body treatments, scrubs and wraps, with manicures, pedicures and hairdressing also available. A massage carries an additional charge, but the important point for planning is that the treatment area is on site, not another excursion requiring shoes and transport.

If sitting still becomes difficult, you have a fitness centre, yoga classes, tennis, a multi-sports court, mini-golf, table tennis, darts, billiards and a games room. Bicycle hire and tennis equipment are available, and the evenings bring live music, shows, themed dinner nights and broadcast sports. The hotel also has a disco for nights when sleep can wait.

You need to give the hotel your expected arrival time in advance, which is particularly useful if your transfer lands outside the usual rhythm of the resort. Lanzarote Airport is the straightforward arrival point, around 33 minutes away by car in normal conditions. An airport shuttle is available on request, and car hire can be arranged through the hotel. Free public parking is available nearby, although spaces cannot be reserved; that is worth keeping in mind if you are planning to drive rather than arrive by transfer.
