Safety Stop Diving

Safety Stop Diving is one of the most established PADI 5 Star centres on Havelock Island, having operated since 2018. Located directly on Nemo Beach, the centre offers immediate access to the water, meaning you can move from the shore to the boat without the need for long transfers or wet shuttles.

The centre operates with a focus on small-scale, personalised diving rather than high-volume tourism. By maintaining a strict ratio of no more than four divers per guide, the team ensures that safety and individual attention remain the priority for every sortie.

Instruction is conducted in English, and the staff is experienced in guiding divers through a variety of environments, from shallow reef flats to deeper pinnacle dives. The centre offers a comprehensive range of PADI training programmes. For those new to the water, they conduct Discover Scuba Diving and the PADI Open Water Diver course.

For divers looking to advance their skills or career, the centre provides training for PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Divemaster, the latter of which is a six-week programme. They also offer EFR (Emergency First Response) training to ensure all divers have essential safety skills.
