Vivre Ocean is located in Hendaye, providing access to the diverse underwater landscapes of the Basque coast. The centre focuses on tailored programmes that adapt to your specific experience level and the prevailing local conditions.

Whether you are looking for a discovery dive or a structured training programme, the approach here is built around small groups. By limiting outings to a maximum of eight people, the team ensures a high level of individual attention and safety throughout your time in the water.

The team is composed of State-certified instructors (moniteurs diplômés d'État) who manage all training and guided excursions. Their expertise allows them to customise programmes based on your specific goals and the current sea state.

Safety is a core component of their operation, backed by professional civil liability insurance. The instructors prioritise a personalised approach, making sure that every diver, from a complete novice to a more experienced individual, receives appropriate guidance.

Vivre Ocean offers a structured progression of training through various certification levels. You can begin with introductory discovery dives (baptêmes) or work through the formal French diving qualification levels, including Niveau 1, Niveau 2, and Niveau 3.

For those looking to build a more technical skill set, the centre provides further training options available upon request. All programmes are designed to be bespoke, matching the pace of the student to the requirements of the course.

The centre provides a full range of diving kit for hire, including wetsuits, regulators, BCDs, and cylinders. This allows you to dive without the need to transport your own heavy equipment.

For those interested in surface activities, snorkeling equipment including masks, fins, and snorkels is also available.
