Situated on the Port du Poussaï, directly facing the Île d'Or, the Centre de Plongée du Dramont serves as a gateway to the exceptional marine environments of the Corniche d'Or. The coastline stretches from Cap Camarat to Anthéor, offering a varied underwater topography that includes steep walls, rocky outcrops, and wreck sites.

The centre is ideally positioned for those looking to explore the protected areas of the Mediterranean. Most of the local dive sites are reachable within five minutes of leaving the port, allowing for maximum time spent underwater. Whether you are looking for a relaxed exploration or technical diving, the location provides immediate access to the best of the region.

The centre is a professionally managed structure, officially approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It operates under the affiliations of the FFESSM, PADI, and CMAS, ensuring that certifications are recognised both in France and internationally.

Instruction is provided by state-qualified instructors and professional specialists. This expertise extends beyond standard recreational training to include specific disciplines such as marine biology, underwater photography, and advanced gas blending.

A comprehensive curriculum is available through both the FFESSM and PADI systems. For beginners, the centre offers the Niveau 1 FFESSM and PADI Open Water Diver courses, as well as introductory discovery dives. Higher-level training continues through Niveau 2, Niveau 3, and Niveau 4, alongside PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster programmes.

Technical and specialty training is a core part of the offering. Divers can specialise in Nitrox, Trimix, and Rebreather (CCR) operations. The centre also hosts specific courses in underwater photography, marine biology, and gas blending.

The fleet consists of five vessels, including semi-rigid boats and chaloupes, with a total capacity for 100 divers. These boats allow for quick transit to the nearby sites around Cap Dramont.

For technical divers, the boats are equipped to handle more advanced requirements, with Nitrox and Trimix gases available for use during trips.

The centre provides full equipment hire, covering all sizes and seasons with items such as cylinders, BCDs, wetsuits, and regulators. For those bringing their own kit, a secure and ventilated storage area is available on-site, including facilities to charge torches.

Shore-based facilities include an outdoor rinsing station, hot showers, and toilets. On-site gas preparation is handled via a compressor with dedicated pads for Nitrox and Trimix blending.

The diving area is located along the Corniche d'Or, which offers many sites that are naturally protected from the prevailing winds. This provides relatively stable conditions for exploration.

While the Mediterranean can experience varying swell, the proximity of the sites to the Port du Poussaï ensures that many locations remain accessible even when conditions are not perfect.
