Divecenter Ile d'Or

Located in Saint-Raphaël at Le Dramont, Divecenter Ile d'Or has been a fixture of the Côte d'Azur diving scene since 1994. The centre is situated within the Camping Campéole du Dramont, positioned just a short distance from the small harbour where the boats are moored.

This is a family-run establishment led by Pierre Rambow, offering a professional yet personal environment for divers. Whether you are staying at the campsite or travelling from nearby Cannes or Nice, the centre provides a dedicated base for exploring the Mediterranean.

The centre is directed by Pierre Rambow, who has managed the school for three decades. This long-standing local expertise ensures a stable and professional environment for all divers.

The team communicates in French, German, and English, making it easy to coordinate dives and training regardless of your native language. The atmosphere remains familial, catering to both regular divers and those visiting the region for the first time.

The centre provides a range of training and instruction, though specific course catalogues should be confirmed upon arrival. They are equipped to handle various levels of diver development in the local waters.

The fleet consists of four boats, including three rescue boats (chaloupes de sauvetage) and one semi-rigid. These vessels are powered by 150hp engines and are designed to handle the local conditions effectively.

The boats have a combined capacity to accommodate up to 90 divers per rotation. All vessels are equipped with legal safety gear, including VHF radio, first aid kits, and oxygen.

On-site facilities include a dedicated storage and rinsing area, a repair workshop, and a reception area with a bar. For your comfort after a dive, there are outdoor hot showers, rinsing tables, and a social space equipped with a parasol and a refrigerator.

The centre operates two compressors, a Bauwer and an L&V, both with a flow rate of 900L/min. They also welcome autonomous divers looking to fill their own cylinders.

Full equipment hire is available for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, boots, weights, BCDs, and regulators. You can also choose from a range of cylinder sizes, from 5L to 15L, with both DIN and INT valve options.
