Divers & Co. Serenity

Based in the Red Sea with offices in Cairo and Hurghada, Divers & Co. has been operating since 2019. They focus on professional standards, serving as a PADI 5 Star IDC centre for divers looking to advance their skills or begin a career in instruction.

The centre's primary offering is the Serenity Liveaboard, a vessel designed for immersive Red Sea safaris. This boat allows you to reach remote reefs and dive sites that are inaccessible to day-trippers, providing a true sense of the region's marine ecosystems.

As a 5 Star IDC centre, the staff is equipped to handle the full spectrum of PADI training. This includes everything from the Bubble Maker programme for children as young as 8 to advanced professional courses.

The instructional team provides high-level expertise, facilitating PADI Instructor Development Courses for those pursuing a career in diving. All instruction and communication are conducted in English.

The centre offers the complete PADI curriculum, starting with the Bubble Maker for young divers. You can progress through Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to specialise, a variety of PADI Specialties are available. The centre also serves as an IDC centre, hosting PADI Instructor Development Courses for professional candidates.

The Serenity is a dedicated liveaboard vessel with a capacity for 24 divers. It is powered by twin 764 ch Caterpillar turbodiesel engines, ensuring reliable transit between remote dive sites.

The boat features 12 air-conditioned cabins, including 8 twin-berth cabins on the lower deck, 2 king-size cabins on the main deck, and 2 upper-deck twin-berth cabins. Each cabin is equipped with a private toilet, shower, and mini-fridge.

Onboard amenities include a spacious lounge, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. For relaxation between dives, you have access to a bar, a TV with video/DVD facilities, and even massage services depending on the specific itinerary.

Divers & Co. operates as an official distributor for Cressi, Scubapro, Xdeep, and Sunnto, meaning you have access to high-quality, current kit. Full rental sets are available for those not using their own equipment.

Safety is a priority with dedicated oxygen availability on board. The centre is also equipped to handle Nitrox for divers looking to extend their bottom times.

The Red Sea waters around these routes are home to a diverse array of reef life. You can expect to see various species of coral, including both hard and soft corals, providing the structural foundation for the ecosystem.

Larger pelagics and reef inhabitants are a regular feature. You may encounter Barracuda (Sphyraena), Tuna (Thunnus), Jack (Carangidae), and various species of Fusilier (Caesio) and mackerels. Other notable residents include Grouper (Epinephelinae), Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), and Parrotfish (Calotomus).

For those interested in macro life, look closely for Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Octopus (Octopoda), and Cuttlefish (Sepiidae). You might also spot Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae) or other smaller creatures like the Spanish dancer (Hexabranchus sanguineus).
