Mae Haad Pier is a 15-minute drive away. Samui International Airport is about 38 miles away and Chumphon Airport about 54 miles away, although the island journey involves boat travel as well as the road transfer.

The private path to Shark Bay is the main attraction here. You can go snorkelling straight from the resort, and the protected water is known for encounters with sea turtles and blacktip reef sharks. That makes the shoreline more than a backdrop for photographs; it gives a non-diving partner something worthwhile to do while you are away on the boat.

Kayak hire is available on site, with snorkelling equipment included in the arrangement. The resort also organises snorkelling with turtles and can help with holiday planning on Koh Tao, so a day off need not become a day spent staring at a phone trying to work out where to go.
