Brothers Diving is an established SSI Diamond Dive Centre situated in San Agustin, Gran Canaria. Brothers Diving offers a comprehensive range of training programmes through both SSI and PADI certifications. For those starting their journey, they provide SSI Scuba Diver, PADI Open Water Diver, and various introductory courses.

Advanced divers can progress through SSI Advanced Open Water, Divemaster, and various technical specialties. The curriculum includes a wide array of specific skills, such as the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty, Deep Specialty, Navigation Specialty, Night and Limited Visibility Specialty, Perfect Buoyancy Specialty, Photo and Video Specialty, React Right Specialty, Science of Diving Specialty, Search and Recovery Specialty, and Wreck Specialty.

The centre maintains a high standard of equipment, offering full hire options featuring premium brands such as Fourth Element, Scubapro, Tecline, Cressi, and Mares. This ensures that divers can rely on well-maintained, high-performance kit for their excursions.

For gas preparation, the centre uses Coltri compressors to provide fresh air and Enriched Air Nitrox. They also utilise the Dryfing URA system for efficient cleaning and drying of equipment, helping to maintain the longevity and hygiene of the gear used by their divers.

The local waters are home to a variety of larger species, including groupers, rays, and angel sharks. During their breeding season from November to February, angel sharks are more frequently encountered in the area.

You can also find barracuda, cuttlefish, and moray eels patrolling the reefs and rocky structures. For those looking for larger pelagics, the area is known to host hammerhead sharks, shortfin mako sharks, and Galapagos sharks.

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to observe among the rocks and sandy patches, including various species of octopus and nudibranchs. The reefs are also populated by trumpetfish and many smaller species of fish that inhabit the crevices of the volcanic formations.

Diving in Gran Canaria is possible year-round, with visibility reaching up to 30 metres. Currents can vary significantly depending on the specific site, ranging from completely calm conditions at shallow shore sites to moderate currents around the reefs and wrecks.

Many of the sites, such as Risco Verde and Sardina del Norte, offer low-current environments, making them suitable for a wide range of experience levels. However, more advanced sites like Pasito Blanco Reef or La Catedral may present moderate currents that require more confident buoyancy and navigation skills.
