The resort combines sea-view suites and villas with gardens, terraces, an infinity pool and a spa, giving couples, families and small groups rather more breathing space than a standard hotel room.

The feel is residential rather than corridor-and-keycard. Your accommodation comes with a living area, dining space and kitchen, while the villas add a private swimming pool. Daily housekeeping keeps the practical side moving, and soundproofing, air conditioning, heating and a fan give you several ways to make the room comfortable when the day has involved sun, salt and a respectable amount of effort.

You can also keep things simple. The hotel has restaurants, bars, a coffee house, room service, a minimarket and free WiFi throughout, so a tired evening does not automatically require another expedition.

The address is in Guía de Isora, on Tenerife, at C/ Pino Ojeda 4. This is a resort setting rather than a town-centre base, with Abama Golf nearby and the coast within reach by car. The nearest named beach, Playa del Barranco de Erques, is about 1.2 miles away as the crow flies but roughly 4.3 miles by road; geography occasionally has a sense of humour.

San Juan Beach is about 2.7 miles away by road, while Playa de San Juan is about 2.9 miles away. You have several restaurants close to the resort, including Txoko at roughly 1 km and M.B. de Martín Berasategui at about 1.5 km, both useful when you fancy eating beyond the property without turning dinner into a full evening’s logistics.

Tenerife South Airport is about 22 miles away by road, with a typical driving time of around 31 minutes. Tenerife North–Ciudad de La Laguna Airport is the longer option, at about 50 miles by road and around 1 hour 12 minutes by car.

For two, the one-bedroom sea-view suite is the straightforward choice: enough separation to avoid living on top of your luggage, plus a proper sitting and dining area for the evening when your legs have had enough of being useful. Sea views, a terrace or balcony and a private bathroom give the stay a clear sense of place without asking you to dress up for it.

Travelling with family or friends, the larger two- and three-bedroom suites give you separate bedrooms and more than one bathroom, while the villas are the ones to choose when a private pool matters. The three-bedroom options suit a larger group; the two-bedroom villas keep the same idea at a more manageable scale. All categories are built around space rather than a single bed and a chair pretending to be a living room.

The kitchens are properly equipped for more than boiling water: you have a refrigerator, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and kitchenware. That means breakfast can happen at your own pace, drinks can stay cold and a packed lunch is possible without culinary heroics. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also useful when holiday clothes have encountered sea spray, pool water or the general consequences of travelling light.

Air conditioning helps you cool down at night, while heating is available when the evening turns less tropical. Soundproof rooms, a private entrance, a dressing room, wardrobe space and a sofa all add to the sense that you can close the door and properly stop for the day.

There are five restaurants on site, with American, Mediterranean, Spanish and international cooking represented. Melvin Restaurant focuses on seafood and serves dinner, while Atlántico Restaurant and Tágara Restaurant add further named options within the resort. The useful point is variety: you can eat in without making every evening identical.

A pool bar, a coffee house, a snack bar and three named bars keep the lighter moments covered. Pool Bar Sunway, Zumeria Bar and Ambar Gastro Bar give you places for a drink or something less formal than a full meal; live music is also part of the offer. After diving, that distinction matters. Sometimes you want dinner, and sometimes you want a cold drink and a chair that does not ask questions.

Breakfast caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets. Special-diet menus are available on request, and the accommodation kitchens, dining tables and room service give you a fallback when your appetite arrives at an inconvenient time. Packed lunches are also available, useful for days when the plan involves leaving the resort rather than sitting down for another meal.

The infinity pool and sun terrace are the obvious places to put the day on pause, with gardens and outdoor seating adding space to read, talk or simply stare towards the sea. Sun loungers, umbrellas and pool towels are available, so you can make a proper afternoon of doing very little. It is an underrated skill, particularly when the morning has involved a lot of kicking.

Sandára Wellness & Spa covers the recovery side with massages, facials, a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, mud baths, body wraps and other body treatments. Couples can book a couples massage, while the spa lounge and relaxation area provide a quieter setting before or after treatment. A fitness centre, yoga, meditation and Pilates are available if your idea of relaxation includes keeping the joints in working order.

Away from the pool and spa, you can play tennis, use the golf course within about 1.9 miles, cycle, hike or join cultural excursions. Boat trips, island outings, waterfalls, markets and snorkelling are among the excursion options. Temporary art galleries and live performances provide gentler evening diversions, while a kids’ club and children’s pool make the resort workable for mixed-age groups.

Tenerife South Airport is the practical arrival point, about 22 miles from the resort by road. An airport shuttle and a further shuttle service are available to arrange with the property, and car hire is also available. Free private parking is provided on site, with a parking garage, so driving gives you a useful way to reach the beaches and surrounding sights.

Check-in runs from 16:00 to midnight, and check-out is from midnight to 12:00. You need to give the property your expected arrival time in advance, and photo identification and a credit card are required at check-in. The minimum check-in age is 18.

A 24-hour front desk, concierge service, tour desk and luggage storage take care of the awkward gaps around travel. Private check-in and check-out, free WiFi throughout the hotel, a minimarket and grocery deliveries make the practical side fairly self-contained. Children of any age are welcome, cots can be requested for children aged 0 to 2, and there are no extra beds.
