LE KREISKER is a small family hotel beside the sea in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, with six rooms and a friendly bar. The room choice is mostly about how much space you want around the bed. Couples who prefer room to turn around after a day outside can look towards the Superior Double Room, with a super-king-size bed. The Standard Queen Room offers a large king-size bed in a more compact format, while the Economy Double Room keeps things simple for two. For a family, the Family Room uses two double beds and is the practical option when sharing a room matters more than having separate sleeping areas.

The main activity is the coast itself. Casino Beach is a short walk from the hotel, and Plage du Châtelet is close enough to make changing beaches a minor decision rather than a logistical project. Plage de la Grève Noire and Grève de l'Isnain are also nearby, with Grève de la Fontaine Saint-Quay a little farther along the shoreline.

The terrace gives you somewhere to sit outside when you want sea air without committing to another outing. That is about the right level of effort for a day when your legs have already done their share of the work. No timetable is required: walk, sit, read, or head back to the bar.

Further afield, countryside riding is around 7 miles away and Manoir de la Noé Verte about 7 miles away. Saint-Brieuc and its historic sites are within driving distance, while the hotel itself keeps the post-activity routine pleasingly short.

Check-in runs from 2pm to 8pm, and check-out from 7.30am to 11am. The reception is open throughout the week, which suits both a planned arrival and a coastal stop that has taken longer than expected. Luggage storage is available, so your travel day does not have to begin or end at the exact moment your room does.

Saint-Brieuc railway station is about 14 miles from the hotel. Taxis and buses connect Saint-Quay-Portrieux with Saint-Brieuc, giving you a workable route for the final leg of the journey. There is no airport distance to plan from the information here, so the railway connection is the useful reference point.

Children of any age are welcome. A cot can be requested for children aged one to three, subject to the room option, while extra beds are not available. Pets are accepted on request, cash is not accepted, and parties or similar events are not allowed.
