Alysés Plongée has been operating in Hurghada since 2005, providing a consistent gateway to the diverse marine ecosystems of the Red Sea. From the reef flats to deeper offshore sites, the centre facilitates daily boat trips that allow you to explore the region's celebrated underwater topography.

Located just ten minutes from Geisum Beach, the centre is positioned to access a vast array of dive sites. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day of reef exploration or are preparing for more demanding technical dives, the operation is built around daily departures at 8:30 am and returns by 3:30 pm.

The centre is affiliated with both SSI and FFESSM, allowing it to serve a broad spectrum of divers with different certification backgrounds. The team is composed of qualified instructors capable of guiding you through the entire progression of diving, from initial skills acquisition to professional instructor training.

Instructional depth is a key feature here, with the team covering everything from children's programmes to advanced technical specialties. They support divers through the full range of SSI and FFESSM curricula, ensuring that whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, the guidance is tailored to your specific certification path.

The training programme is extensive, covering the full SSI and FFESSM spectrum. Beginners can start with Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver courses, progressing through Advanced Adventurer and Stress & Rescue. For those looking to specialise, the centre offers Nitrox, Deep Dive, and Sidemount training.

Technical divers will find a robust curriculum including Extended Range foundations, Extended Range Nitrox, Technical Extended Range, and Hypoxic Trimix. The centre also provides professional training for those aiming for Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, or Instructor levels, as well as Gas Blender certification.

Daily excursions are conducted from a dedicated dive boat, with two dives scheduled per outing. The trips are designed for comfort and efficiency, departing in the morning and returning in the mid-afternoon. To keep you fuelled for the day, meals and snacks are provided on board during the excursions.

For those travelling light, a comprehensive range of rental kit is available, including regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, shorties, fins, masks, snorkels, and dive computers. The centre is well-equipped to support technical divers, offering the hire of twinsets, stage tanks, side-mount configurations, deco regulators, and wings (both backplate & wing and sidemount wings).

Technical gas support is a core part of the facility. The centre provides Nitrox 40% fills, helium for Trimix diving, and the necessary equipment for technical diving such as bottom gas regulators and SMBs with reels. They also provide specialized support for those using booster systems.

The Red Sea reefs around Hurghada are home to a vast array of marine life. You can expect to see various reef fish including Anthias (Anthias), Damselfish, Chromis, and Surgeonfish (Acanthuridae). Larger species such as Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), Groupers (Epinephelus), and various types of Moray eel (Muraenidae) are frequently encountered near the reef structures.

Pelagic sightings are a highlight for many, with the possibility of seeing Tuna (Thunnus), Jacks (Carangidae), and Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda). You may also encounter turtles and different species of sharks, including Reef shark (Carcharhinus) and small reef sharks.

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to observe, from Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani) and various Flatworm (Turbellaria) to Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae) and Frogfish (Antennarius). Keep a close eye on the seabed and crevices for Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), Stonefish (Synanceia), and various species of rays, including blue-spotted stingrays and Southern stingray (Hypanus americanus).

Diving in this area typically involves navigating various reef environments. Some sites are known for drift diving, where divers move with the current, requiring a certain level of buoyancy control and familiarity with moving water. The centre's daily schedule is structured to make the most of the local conditions across their 60 accessible sites.
