Blue Marlin Diving Center Hurghada

Blue Marlin Diving Center is a professional diving operation based in Hurghada, serving as a gateway to the diverse marine ecosystems of the Red Sea. The centre caters to a wide spectrum of experience, from those taking their first breaths underwater to technical divers seeking more challenging environments.

Operating seven days a week, the centre organises daily boat trips that typically include two dives, with the possibility of a third. For those looking to go beyond the standard day trips, they also run dive safaris designed to reach the more remote and untouched sites of the region.

The team is composed of four experienced instructors and divemasters, forming an international crew capable of communicating in English, Arabic, Russian, Dutch, and German. This multilingual approach ensures that training and briefings are clear for a diverse range of divers.

As an SDI affiliated centre, the instruction follows standardised professional protocols. The team is experienced in guiding small groups, providing a level of attention that is essential for both novice students and those navigating more complex environments like reefs and wrecks.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering every stage of the SDI progression. Beginners can start with the Discovery Scuba Diver course before moving through the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to professionalise their skills, the centre offers Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses. They also cater to the technical community, providing training for Technical Divers.

The centre operates daily boat excursions departing from Hurghada. These trips are structured around two 60-minute dives, with the option to add a third dive to your day. On board, you will find refreshments including water, hot and cold drinks, coffee, and tea, alongside lunch with non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Nitrox is available for use on these trips, with 12-litre and 15-litre cylinder options provided to help extend your bottom time on the reef.

The centre provides a variety of rental equipment for those not travelling with their own kit. While fins, masks, and wetsuits are included in the basic rental package, BCDs and regulators are available as additional supplements. Divers also have the option to hire dive computers.

For those looking to optimise their gas management, Nitrox is available in both 12-litre and 15-litre cylinders. The centre also offers the option to upgrade to 15-litre cylinders for standard air dives.

The Red Sea reefs around Hurghada are home to a variety of interesting species. You can regularly observe moray eels and various types of sea snakes patrolling the reef structures.
