Diamond Red Sea - Diving in Hurghada

Located in the Hurghada Marina, Diamond Red Sea has been a staple of the Egyptian diving scene since 1996. This family-founded centre is the result of a long-standing partnership between Belgian, Estonian, and Egyptian divers, creating a unique multicultural environment for those looking to explore the Red Sea.

Having operated for over 28 years, the centre has built a reputation for a warm, communal atmosphere. Divers often find themselves treated more like family members than customers, a sentiment reflected in their extensive history of successful dives.

The centre is fully affiliated with PADI and provides instruction across all levels of the PADI progression. Whether you are starting with your first Bubblemaker session or working towards your Divemaster certification, the instruction is geared towards technical precision and safety.

With a multilingual team capable of communicating in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic, language barriers are rarely an issue. This diverse staff ensures that the technical nuances of courses like Nitrox or Deep Diver are clearly understood by everyone.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver course or the Bubblemaker programme for younger divers. For those looking to advance, the centre offers Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster certifications.

Specialty courses are also available for divers wanting to refine specific skills. You can enrol in the PADI Nitrox Specialty, Wreck Diver Specialty, Deep Diver Specialty, Drift Diver Specialty, or the Peak Performance Buddy Specialty.

The fleet includes one of the largest daily dive boats in Hurghada, measuring 30 metres long and 6.5 metres wide. This large vessel provides ample space for divers, featuring two sun decks and a dedicated shaded area to rest between dives.

On board, you will find a diving platform with a ladder for easy access, a salon, and two bathrooms. The boat is equipped with GPS for navigation and life jackets for safety. During your day trips, the crew provides freshly prepared Egyptian lunch, along with water, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages.

The facility is designed to support a smooth workflow from the moment you arrive at the marina. Nitrox is available on board for divers looking to extend their bottom time or increase their safety margins.

For those who prefer not to carry their own kit, a range of rental equipment is available on-site. The centre provides a professional environment for preparing your gear before heading out to the reefs or wrecks.

The local waters are home to a variety of charismatic pelagics and reef species. You can expect to encounter dolphins and rays during your excursions, alongside various species of fish.

During certain periods, sharks may also be sighted in the area. Sea turtles are also a regular presence in these waters, often seen navigating the reef structures.
