Located in Hurghada, Red Sea Divers has been operating since 2006, providing a consistent base for divers exploring the Red Sea. The centre is situated at the Golden Beach Resort, offering a structured environment for both holidaymakers and dedicated divers looking to progress their skills.

Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are an experienced diver seeking advanced specialties, the centre operates daily excursions. Their approach prioritises small group sizes to ensure that every diver receives the necessary attention during the descent and throughout the dive.

The team is composed of international PADI instructors and divemasters who bring more than 30 years of combined experience specifically within the Red Sea. This local expertise is central to their operation, ensuring that guides are intimately familiar with the local currents and reef structures.

Safety and environmental conservation are integrated into their training and daily dive operations. The centre is a PADI 5 Star facility, which reflects their commitment to maintaining high standards of instruction and dive management.

Red Sea Divers offers a complete spectrum of PADI training. Beginners can start with the PADI Bubblemaker or the PADI Scuba Diver course, eventually progressing to the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

The course catalogue extends into professional and specialty training, including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and the PADI Deep Diver Specialty. For those interested in technical or specific disciplines, they offer Sidemount Diver, Wreck Diver, and Enriched Air Diver courses.

The centre provides full equipment hire, allowing you to dive without transporting your own kit. This includes regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, fins, and masks.

For those looking to extend their bottom time, Nitrox is available on-site. All diving packages include the use of cylinders, weights, and lunch, with non-alcoholic drinks provided during the trips.

The Red Sea reefs around Hurghada are home to a diverse array of species. You will regularly encounter schooling fish, colourful reef fish, and various species of snapper, Jack (Carangidae), and Batfish. Larger pelagics such as Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) and various reef sharks (Carcharhinus) are also part of the local ecosystem.

The hard corals and soft corals provide a complex habitat for a vast range of life, including many species of Butterflyfish and Anthias (Anthias). You may also spot turtles and various species of Grouper (Epinephelus) patrolling the reef structure.

Macro life is abundant for those watching closely. The reefs host Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), and various scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae). You can also find Frogfish (Antennarius) and various species of moray eels (Muraenidae) tucked into the crevices of the reef.

Seasonally, the area offers specific highlights. Between April and June, there is the possibility of seeing Manta rays and Whale sharks during your dives.

The best time to plan your diving is between April and June, or from September to mid-November when the air and water temperatures are most pleasant. While the sites can be calmer from mid-November to late March, be aware that the temperatures are cooler and winds can be stronger during this period.
