Schools of colourful fish like Butterflyfish (Chaetodon), Parrotfish (Calotomus), and Surgeonfish (Acanthuridae) are common sights across the reef flats.

Larger animals frequently pass through the area, including Spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. It is also common to see turtles and various types of rays, such as the Southern stingray (Hypanus americanus) and blue-spotted stingrays, patrolling the sandy patches near the reefs.

For those interested in macro life, the seabed offers plenty to explore. Keep an eye out for the Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), various species of Moray eel (Muraenidae), and Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae). You might also spot Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), Frogfish (Antennarius), or different types of flatworms (Turbellaria) tucked into the crevices.
